When I first started college, I honestly had no clear sense of who I was. I felt confused, ashamed, and uncertain about my beliefs and the person I wanted to become. To cope with my social anxiety and insecurities, I turned to alcohol for most of my twenties. I watched relationships, opportunities, and my belief in myself fade more and more as I isolated and turned to alcohol for solace. In my late twenties, I experienced a shift when I found a recovery community—I connected with others who understood me, and that support completely changed my perspective.
Grow beyond old patterns that no longer serve you…
As I grew more connected, I began to understand that my addiction was really a response to years of feeling misunderstood, rejected, and burdened with responsibilities far too heavy for a child. The more I opened up and allowed myself to grieve my childhood, the more those layers of emotional pain started to lift—leaving me with a renewed sense of hope and compassion for both myself and others.
Once I discovered my authentic self and clarified my values, I was able to support others on their healing journeys while deepening my own connection with myself—grounded in authenticity, accountability, and self-compassion. I came to understand that what often feels like breaking down can actually be the start of profound transformation. I now get the privilege to witness my client’s healing journeys and there is nothing I love more.
Specializing in PTSD, complex trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions marked by grief and loss, I bring a grounded and compassionate lens to this work. These areas aren’t just part of my training—they’re deeply woven into my lived experience and the healing I’ve witnessed in others. The therapies I use are evidence-informed and purposefully selected to support long-term, integrative change. My goal is to offer a space where you can reclaim your voice, deepen self-understanding, and move forward with confidence in your own story.
Recognizing and naming your pain is a powerful act of self-compassion and the path toward real and lasting transformation.
